Hendrick Farm is home to a five-acre certified organic farm that grows hundreds of varieties of vegetables and flowers. Established in 2011 at the inception of the Hendrick Farm community, the organic farm is run by the non-profit Hendrick Foundation and is located next to a 130-year-old barn.

The farm forms the perfect link between the village centre and the rest of the neighbourhood.


The Hendrick Farm Stand is open to visitors and residents alike and offers a selection of seasonal, local, organic produce harvested from the field and sold fresh daily. A selection of products from local producers are available for purchase as well, including organic honey, preserves, and farm-fresh, free range eggs.

The Hendrick Farm Stand is slated to open its doors for the 2018 season on June 21st.

The Hendrick Foundation offers a variety of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs. Members are provided with fresh, high-quality, certified organic produce grown at the farm. CSA memberships at Hendrick Farm are available in one-time to weekly or bi-weekly pickup options. Each pickup features a bountiful mix of seasonal produce packaged for members, along with a CSA newsletter that provides recipes and tips on how to get the most out of the week’s produce.


The Hendrick Foundation’s organic flower program offers a variety of bouquets for purchase through the Hendrick Farm Stand. All bouquets feature beautiful heritage, native, and/or endangered flower varieties grown on-site.

The flower program grows approximately 80 varieties of organic flowers, and engages in seed saving, preserving genetic diversity, and ensuring the proliferation of endangered varieties. Growing organically and selling locally is a tangible step towards reducing the high carbon footprint associated with flowers flown in from around the globe.
